George Stephens developed a plan for a streetcar suburb on his father-in-law’s (John Spring Myers) farm in 1905. The neighborhood was designed by the Harvard-trained landscape architect, John Nolen, and work was underway by 1911.
Myers Park is distinguished for its winding tree-lined streets, large historic homes and architectural variety. Due to its landscaped beauty, it is one of the most-visited parts of Charlotte.
For those short on time, a simple drive through the neighborhood is worthwhile in order to view the large, historic mansions along the main streets.

Gracious southern living at its best in the heart of Myers Park! Large front porch welcomes you into this custom home with 10' ceilings and primary bedroom on the main. Main level includes living room, dining room, chef's kitchen with gas cooktop, pot filler and Subzero refrigerator. Opens to large family room with bar including beverage fridge and pellet ice maker. Upstairs hosts 4 bedrooms and a bonus loft area. Walkable to Selwyn Avenue retail and restaurants, MP school campus and MP Country Club - this flexible floor plan is wonderful for any stage of life. Relax on the covered back porch with fireplace while enjoying the year-round landscaping (irrigation and lighting included). An adorable shed and 2 car detached garage help create a private back yard oasis. This one is a gem!
